Academy Registration Terms

These terms apply to the registration of a player in the Nayadiganta Sporting Club youth academy. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility and age groups
The academy is open to players aged 8 to 18. Players are placed in an age group that matches their age on the relevant season date. Acceptance is at the Club's discretion and depends on available places and the outcome of a trial.
Parental or guardian consent
A parent or guardian must provide consent for any player under 18. By registering, the parent or guardian confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they agree to these terms on the player's behalf.
Registration and trial process
Registration is a request to be considered, not a guarantee of a place. Players may be invited to a trial or assessment session. The Club will confirm in writing whether a place is offered, and a place is only secure once any applicable requirements are completed.
Medical and safety
The parent or guardian must disclose any medical condition, allergy or injury that could affect the player's safe participation, and must keep that information up to date. Players take part in physical activity at their own risk, and the Club expects all participants to follow coaches' safety instructions.
Code of conduct
Players, parents and guardians are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, officials, opponents and teammates. The Club may suspend or end a player's place in the academy for serious or repeated breaches of this code of conduct.
Fees and payments
Where a subscription or fee applies, it will be stated before a place is confirmed. Fees are used to cover coaching, equipment and facilities. The Club will give reasonable notice of any change to fees.
Photography and media consent
During training and matches, the Club may take photographs and video for its website and social media. Where a player is under 18, consent is given by the parent or guardian at registration and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Club.
Data and privacy
The personal information collected during registration is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We keep only what is needed to run the academy and to keep players safe, and we do not share it for advertising.
Cancellation and withdrawal
A parent or guardian may withdraw a player at any time by contacting the Club. Where fees have been paid in advance, any refund is at the Club's discretion and will take into account the sessions already delivered.
Changes to these terms
The Club may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered families, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.
