Who we are

Nayadiganta Sporting Club is a football club based at Bhuiyarhat Chowrasta, Kabirhat, Noakhali, Bangladesh. For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described below, please use our contact page.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the club's website and services. This falls into three broad groups:

• Information you give us — your name, email address and password when you create an account; the details you submit when you request a friendly match; and the information provided when registering a player for the academy.
• Information collected automatically — your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the time of your visit, recorded by our hosting and security logs.

How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account, to respond to match requests and academy enquiries, to publish fixtures, results and club news, to keep the website safe and working, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis

Where required, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you create an account or register for the academy), to perform a contract or service you have asked for, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and protecting the Club.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your light or dark display preference. Our Cookie Policy explains each one and how to remove them.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the website — for example, our hosting provider, our email provider and our media storage provider — and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of the Club and its members.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Match requests and academy records are kept for as long as needed to manage the relevant activity and to meet our record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we work to keep your data safe and to fix issues promptly if they arise.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent where our processing relies on it. Use the contact page to make a request.

Children's privacy

The academy serves young players, so some of the information we hold relates to children. We ask a parent or guardian to provide consent and to manage the registration. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without that consent.

The website itself is not directed at children under 13, and accounts must be created by someone old enough to agree to these terms.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store data outside Bangladesh. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the website where practical.
